FAQs

  • I mainly design on Wix and Squarespace. Most of my clients are not big tech lovers and both these platforms provide fantastic all-in-one solutions.

They offer a beautiful, functional, and streamlined website solution that allows you to easily maintain your site once I make it live. (Don’t worry I'll show you how!) If you don’t have a preference between the two, we can discuss which one will be suited to your needs in your free consultation call.

  • My recommendation is to have your website on Squarespace or Wix - so if you wanna switch, it’s all part of the process! Otherwise, I’d recommend you find an expert for the platform you’re on (and make sure maintenance/support is included to a certain degree).

  • Nope. Not really. You can totally do whatever you want. By investing in a designer like myself, you’ll end up with a beautiful, functional website with a much quicker and smoother turnaround. It’ll save you the stress and headache of piecing together information from a million google searches. It all depends on your priorities and your budget, so this is a personal decision.

  • Signing the contract and paying the deposit will secure your spot on my calendar. Shortly after, you will receive an email with your welcome package which includes all the important details about the process, schedule, deadlines and resources to guide you along the way. You will have from your booking date until our project start date to gather all of your content (images and text) and complete a few questionnaires to help me understand your vision and style.

  • The web design project lasts 3 weeks. We begin on a Monday and your project will be completed on a Friday with your website going live on that last day. During these 3 weeks, I will only be working on your project and available for all your site related questions! Just remember that you have some homework to complete in between your booking date and the 3-week design period as you need to have all your site content (images and text) ready before the project start date.

  • It depends on my current workload, but if there is a wait time, it also means more time for you to compile all the material required before the design process begins! I usually agree on potential project dates in my free consultation call based on your business requirements and my availability.

  • 100% YES! Pictures are pretty much what makes your website breathe and look alive. Good quality pictures make a massive difference, and are usually guiding my design concept.

Don’t worry, if you don’t have your pictures all lined up! I’ve got a few options and recommendations that I can share with you including resources such as stock photography options (best when mixed with your own photos).

  • I only focus on website design and branding. However, I do provide clients with worksheets designed to guide you in your content writing for each page/section on the website. If words are really not your thing, I can put you in contact with a copy-writter.

  • Everything will be done on my end to make sure you're ready to go by your booking date. However, if you have to rebook for a later date, your deposit will be applied to the new date, but there will be a rebooking fee that applies.

  • There is an extra cost per additional page beyond the 6 included in the main package. Please see the pricing guide for details.

  • My Full-website design payment schedule is split in three equal parts. The first payment allows you to book your project in my design calendar and is a non-refundable deposit. The 2nd payment is due before our project start date. Your final payment will be due on the last day of our design period, just before we launch your site. It’s an easy online payment process via PayPal or Credit Card.

  • In order to have your own website with your own domain name, you will incur the following costs:

    • Domain name registration: in most cases, this would be less than $20/year unless you’re after a very sought-after name.

    • Website hosting plan with Squarespace (or Wix): I will help you select the most suitable plan at the end of our project. Most of my clients need the Business plan which costs around $300/year.

    • Most likely, you’ll also need a paid plan with a Class Management and online scheduling Software such as MindBody or PunchPass.

These additional costs are not included in my fees and will need to be purchased by you. I can guide you in setting these up.

  • Yes, you’re not going to be left in the lurch! You’ll have a few options for support.

The first option is the amazing 24/7 SquareSpace support team. Included in your Squarespace plan is unlimited access to the support team via both live chat and email which can be a super quick way to get questions answered.

The other option is for you to email me with your question or request. I offer support free of charge for past clients if I can help without logging into your site. If the issue is a bit bigger and requires me to login to your site to make some changes, I have an hourly rate at which I can assist you.
